Unfortunately, we were missing a couple of members at our weekly meeting due to a bug going round. However, all is well as we still managed to pull though and complete the tasks to our usual high standard!

This week, we were set a few tasks. The first being to complete a NHS Team Diagnosis Effectiveness form and the second being calculations of the capacity of the M8 motorway (This can be accessed on our 'Our Research' page of this site!). We also had to update our RF 18-6 Risk assessment and upload everything to our journal and blog.

During our meet up session, at the start we ensured that NHS Team Diagnosis Effectiveness questionnaires were completed individually. Then collectively as a group, a discussion was held by the CEO about the results, to establish any significant differences in the results. Gathered from the discussion these were the results of the Lööps Groups Findings:

  • The average results were roughly around the same mark, this indicates that each individual member are all on the same page, comfortable to speak up and communicate if anything is incorrect demonstrating excellent team cohesion (which is apparent in our presentation of work and level of detail)

  • Indicates that the team can work in a group together and function at a high working pace to a high level of standard

  • There is a great understanding and appreciation of everyone roles with respect.

  • Everyone has the same aim of striving to achieve the highest quality standards.

  • One thing that our whole team marked down was communication with other groups as this was definitely something we all agree that we are not doing.

  • We found we scored between 31-35 for “purposes and goals” as we thought we were very focused on achieving our goals and remained true to our focus without deviation from the main task.
