Lööps Transportation was first established by a group of students at Heriot-Watt University, dedicated to improving the current modes of public transportation seen across the United Kingdom. Lööps are passionate about travel, which is why we are developing the first ever Hyperloop going from Glasgow to Edinburgh in just 7 minutes.
Our team consists of eight students, covering multiple disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Geography and Urban Planning and Property Development. Our unique range of skills, mixed with our dedication and determination are what really set us apart in the transportation industry.

Why Hyperloop?
Fast, Efficient and More Environmentally Friendly
The Hyperloop is a proposed new and innovative method of mass transportation. The concept will see passengers entering pods, gradually accelerating via electric propulsion through a low-pressure tube. The pods will reach aircraft speeds and could see a journey between Glasgow and Edinburgh cut to just 7 minutes 30 seconds!
